WHY THIS BLOG IS HERE
We love music. It can rescue you. It can mess you up. It can take you to a whole other place. It is very powerful. It is one of the most positive highs life has to offer. When it is really great and used correctly, music will fix you better than drugs, sex, chocolate, or any crazy thrill seeking activity you can think of. To help keep this power in mind, to celebrate it, and to not let too many days pass by in tangent from its influence, we started this blog. Here’s to great music!

MANIFESTO ADDENDUM
We at STGMO believe in buying music and supporting the artists you enjoy so we will provide purchase links when available to all music we write about. As the daughter of a musician and having worked in the industry herself, Rachel knows. Likewise, as the daughter of parents in the music business and wife of a musician, Lillie has seen the dramatic effect of the erroneous belief music should be free. Music is a product (and a damn hard one to make well) so if you like the product send that dollar the way of the one who made it. You won’t notice the difference but the artist sure will. And if a dollar is too abhorrent, at least pay for spotify and send $.004 to that artist when you play their song.
